This year Blues have been running a new football initiative for local schools - the F&C School Challenge in association with the Birmingham Mail.

The competition is one day six-a-side tournament for boys and girls taking place here at St. Andrew's on May 20th.

More than 70 schools from across the West Midlands applied to take-part.

With only 16 places available, an independent panel of judges selected the following 16 schools to take part:
