The Blues youngsters twice came back from a goal down against the Canaries at Wast Hills thanks to goals from Semih Aydilek and David Joyce.
"It was very windy conditions at Wast Hills which made playing good football difficult, but it was the same for both sides," said Spooner.
"Generally I was very disappointed with the performance.
"It was a draw but there was nothing really positive to come out of it other than the fact that we came from behind twice.
"We didn't pass the ball well, we could have worked harder than we did when we were out of possession and we didn't look sharp."
Turning to the mechanics of the game, Spooner said: "Norwich scored after half an hour, but by that point they should have already been to be a couple of goals up, but for poor finishing.
"Shortly after that we missed a glorious chance from six yards out, before Semih (Aydilek) equalised.

"In the second half I had to rejig the side because of an injury to Luke Hubbins and because a couple of players were going to be playing for the reserves on Monday evening so that forced us to change the shape around a bit.
"Although our defending was a lot better in the second half we went behind again before David Joyce equalised with a header after a great ball from Jack Rutter's corner.
"We've now got three away games and a home game to come before the end of the season so I'm looking for some much better performances."
