Cameron Jerome in action for Blues Reserves against Chelsea

Blues Reserves played out their first 0-0 draw of the season as they were held by their Chelsea counterparts at St. Andrew's on Monday evening.

In a game of limited chances, Daniel De Ridder had a good opportunity for Blues just after the half hour mark, but saw his shot blocked.

Then minutes before half time Cameron Jerome just failed to latch onto De Ridder's free kick.

Blues' best opening came in the second half and once again fell to Dutchman De Ridder, but this time his 20 yard strike flew just over the bar.
