Olivier Kapo is expected to return to full training on Monday following his recovery from a hamstring injury.

The midfielder has been laid up for the past month after suffering a grade 2 tear to his hamstring which he sustained during Blues' 2-2 draw against Arsenal at St. Andrew's.

The injury normally takes between four and six weeks to heal, so Kapo is right on schedule.

"Kapo should be back training with us on Monday," revealed Alex McLeish.

"So he'll be knocking on the door for a place straightaway.

"When he comes back to train with us the only time we want players training is when they're ready to push for a first team slot."
