Liam Ridgewell should be fit to face Rovers.
Blues expect to have both Mehdi Nafti and Liam Ridgewell available for this Sunday's crucial last match against Blackburn Rovers at St. Andrew's.

Nafti missed last Saturday's defeat at Fulham due to a thigh strain and Ridgewell came off at half-time at Craven Cottage because of an ankle injury.

Alex McLeish is hopeful that both players will recover in time to be in contention for the visit of Rovers.

"Ridgewell had this problem with his ankle before and he was back in seven days," said the Blues boss.

"He's had an extra day this time round and the physios are saying he's on course.

"We don't feel it's as bad as the last one so we hope Ridgewell makes it.

"Nafti should also be available."

However, McLeish may not have a full complement of players with striker Garry O'Connor struggling with a thigh injury.

McLeish explaned: "O'Connor has had a niggly thigh problem over the past few days. I would think he would be touch and go."
