Sebastian Larsson has been named in the preliminary Sweden squad for Euro 2008.

The tournament takes place in Austria and Switzerland from June 7-29.

The Swede's are in Group D alongside Spain, Greece and Russia.

They begin their campaign against reigning champions Greece on June 10.

Larsson, who was this week named Blues' Player of the Season, has been offered an improved contract to remain at St. Andrew's.

Talking recently about going to the Euro's with his national side, the midfielder said:" If I do get into the Sweden squad I want to go over there, be involved and play in the games.

"I don't just want to be part of the squad."
