Franck Queudrue joined Blues from Fulham in August 2007 in a three-year-deal.
The fee for the Paris-born player was £2m rising to a possible £2.5m.
The 28-year-old France B international began his career in England in 2001 with Middlesbrough on loan from French side Lens.
He impressed sufficiently to earn himself a permanent deal with Boro in 2002 and went on to play almost 200 games for them, before making the switch to fellow Premier League side Fulham in July 2006.
During his time at Craven Cottage he made 32 appearances.
Queudrue is well regarded as a free kick and penalty specialist.
