Sone Aluko is a product of Blues' Academy, which he joined at the age of just eight years old and he is widely regarded as one of the best young prospects at the club.
A striker with an abundance of pace and skill, he can also play in midfield and has represented England from U15 to U19 level.
Aluko broke into the reserves at the start of the 2005/06 season and he was a surprise inclusion on the substitute's bench for the Premiership game against Arsenal at Highbury in October 2005.
He missed much of the 2005/06 campaign with a groin and hernia problem, which has now been resolved.
Aluko joined Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen on a season-long loan in August 2007.
