Adam Legzdins put pen to paper on a new one-year professional contract in the summer of 2007.
The Academy recruit was handed a squad number early in the 2006/07 season when first choice goalkeeper Maik Taylor picked up an injury andwas on the bench for the Championship game at Cardiff as cover for Colin Doyle.
The highly promising teenage keeper had already made a name for himself during loan spells at Alfreton Town and Halifax Town in 2005/06.
Legzdins joined Conference North side Alfreton for a month in October 2005 and made his FA Cup bow with a fourth qualifying round appearance against Hereford United.
The Stafford born shot stopper kept Graham Turner's side at bay with a string of fine saves at Edgar Street to earn the tiny Derbyshire side a lucrative home replay which they were unfortunate to lose on penalties.
His performances for Alfreton brought him to the attention of high-flying Conference outfit Halifax Town who recruited the youngster for a two-month loan spell late in 2005.
Legzdins again received rave reviews for his performances between the sticks as Halifax cemented their place in the promotion play-offs, which they eventually lost to Hereford in May.
During the 2006/07 season he spent time on loan at Oldham Athletic and Macclesfield and in October 2007 he linked up again with Blue Square Premier side Halifax where he has again impressed.
The Shaymen have retained Legzdins's services until the end of the 2007/08 season.
