 The Northern Ireland international goalkeeper initially joined Blues on a season-long loan in the summer of 2003 from Fulham.

Following some impressive performances, the move was made permanent in a £1.5 million deal in March 2004.

He went on to make more than 100 Premiership appearances for Blues, prior to the club's relegation in 2006 and was widely regarded as one of the top division's leading keepers.

A former soldier, Taylor began his career at non-league Farnborough Town before moving into the Football League with Barnet.

After impressing in the lower divisions with the Bees, he earned a move to the Premiership with Southampton before switching to Fulham.
